Terms of Service

1. Overview

The Platinum Publications Library Management System ("the system") provides schools with digital access to Platinum Publications titles that their school has officially availed. Access to digital titles is licensed, not sold, and schools receive a right to view content, not ownership of it. These terms apply to every school administrator account created on the system.

2. Accounts and access

Accounts are issued per school and assigned to authorized school administrators. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Report a compromised account to your Platinum Publications representative right away.

3. Acceptable use

Access to the system is granted for legitimate school use only. Usage is monitored and logged, and personalized watermarks may be applied to book content to help trace unauthorized distribution. You agree not to:

• Share account credentials with anyone outside your school's authorized staff
• Download, screen record, print, or otherwise copy book content outside the reader
• Redistribute or share book content in any form
• Attempt to bypass watermarking, access controls, or any other content protection
• Access titles your school has not been approved for
• Use automated tools (scripts, bots, scrapers) to interact with the system

4. Content ownership

All book content made available through the system remains the property of Platinum Publications and its authors. Access granted through the system is a limited right to view content in-browser, not a transfer of ownership or a license to redistribute.

5. School responsibilities

Only books your school has officially availed and Platinum Publications has approved will be accessible. Your school administrator is responsible for managing which staff have access to the system on your school's behalf.

6. Availability

The system is provided on an as-is basis. We aim for consistent uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access: maintenance, hosting issues, or technical failures may occasionally affect availability.

7. Termination

Access may be suspended or revoked for accounts found in violation of these terms, including unauthorized sharing of content or credentials. Platinum Publications reserves the right to pursue legal action in cases of content leaks, redistribution, or other significant breaches of these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to school administrators by email or noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the system after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
